Valuable relationships. Meaningful work. Better connections.
ClassACT HRX8 helps classmates and Harvard alumni connect their experience, relationships, and practical skills to nonprofit initiatives where targeted support can make a real difference.
What We Do
ClassACT HRX8 is a class-centered alumni network dedicated to social impact.
We support nonprofit initiatives founded, sponsored, or championed by classmates. Through our Current Initiatives, HRX8 helps reduce friction between those who want to help and organizations that need help.
Our work is direct: we connect experience to need, relationships to opportunity, and good intentions to action.

Experience Becomes Impact
Many alumni have spent decades developing experience, judgment, relationships, and expertise across business, law, medicine, education, nonprofit leadership, philanthropy, public service, communications, finance, governance, and civic life.
HRX8 helps put that experience to work. A well-timed introduction, strategic conversation, board connection, professional review, or operating insight can help a promising initiative advance, grow more effectively, and extend its reach.
Built by ’78 Open to the ’8s
ClassACT HRX8 began with the Harvard-Radcliffe Class of 1978. It is designed to engage alumni across the “8” classes — ’78, ’88, ’98, ’08, ’18, and ’28 — through a shared model of engagement, service, and lasting purpose.
