As you know, ClassACT HRX8 is a Harvard alumnae/i community and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Our mission is to bring classmates together to address pressing local, national, and international problems and opportunities. We do this by providing a platform where early-stage nonprofits, founded or sponsored by classmates, can bridge resource gaps by leveraging the expertise of our network of classmates and other Harvard alumnae/i.
Our first three Zoom launch events were attended by over 150 classmates and have generated a great flow of ideas and contacts for our sponsored Bridge Projects. The feedback from attendees has been very enthusiastic! We want to continue this terrific alumnae/i engagement.
ClassACT HRX8 is an intergenerational project, and we have been actively reaching out to collaborate with other classes whose Commencement year ends in “8”. As part of that intergenerational effort, on June 24, we will introduce a great new Bridge Project sponsored by the Class of 1988 – Feed the Frontlines NYC. Even though you attended our earlier events, you might want to learn about this exciting initiative founded during the COVID 19 pandemic.
