This initiative, spearheaded by our classmate Matthew Gamser, a Bidii Yetu co-founder, showcases the importance of community and collaboration in advancing empowerment and inclusivity for people with disabilities across the continent. It exemplifies the collective spirit of ClassACT HRX8 and highlights the remarkable potential of our Class of '78 network to create a global social impact.

ClassACT HRX8 is a multi-generational virtual network of classmates committed to achieving transformational change in alumni engagement as leaders, philanthropists, and social entrepreneurs in their local communities with a built-in mechanism to transfer operational continuity. ClassACT HRX8 is not a fundraising organization.

Bidii Yetu—No Limits has already achieved significant milestones, including completing the first-ever cross-Africa hand cycle journey and forging impactful partnerships with disabled persons’ organizations across five African countries. Bidii Yetu is gearing up for an international inclusive cycling event in Botswana in 2026 with a vision to promote inclusion and adaptive sports.

This event also marks an exciting collaboration with ClassACT HRX8, our nonprofit organization that serves as a social impact accelerator. By leveraging the expertise and connections within our network, ClassACT HRX8 supports nonprofits like Bidii Yetu, amplifying their efforts to address local and global social challenges.
